The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Monday that Hayley Wickenheiser has been promoted to Senior Director of Player Development

Some questions I'm genuinely curious about:

- what exactly does this job entail?

- is it full time or part time?

- how does this mesh with Ms. Wickenheiser's recent graduation from medical school? Is she still pursuing her career as a doctor?

Hornet update.

Looks like Fake was right. After “Karen” settled down, we were able to get a good look at it. I searched the Google box and it def looks like a large European Hornet, we assume it’s a queen because of the size and the abdomen is long. She taps out at 1.6”. So crisis averted. Sorry for the false alarm, but I was excited for a sec. Here’s a photo I found of a European Hornet vs a yellow jacket. We took photos of Karen, but she’s buzzing around in a mason jar, so not the best. We put a quarter in the jar, and she started lifting it up with her mandibles...frank me. Kill it or let it go?
